If you’re still in the mood for some post-vacation gifts for yourself, Microsoft has slashed the price of its high-end Xbox Elite Series 2 controller to $140. That’s nearly as low as its Black Friday price. $135, in case you missed that late November sale. Normally $180, the highly customizable Elite Series 2 is positioned as an upgrade for avid gamers, with a slew of premium features including a set of six thumbsticks with adjustable tension, four paddles, two d-pads, shorter hair trigger locks, rubber wraparound grips , a carrying case and up to three custom profiles – useful if your attention is usually divided between several titles.

As for battery life, the controller is rated for 40 hours of wireless playback, and in addition to the charging case, there is also a charging dock included in the package. In addition to wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, there is also the option to connect a USB-C cable. Anyway, the controller is not only compatible with Xbox games, but also PC titles.

If you’ve been watching the Series 2, it’s worth noting that we don’t see it on sale that often. In fact, the stock itself seems to be low right now – at the time of writing Amazon doesn’t even have a Series 2 inventory, so the fact that Microsoft has it all, let alone at a price close to Black Friday seems, seems remarkable.
